Harris & Harris, Ltd. in Chicago, IL is seeking an Early Out Representative to prepare and submit insurance claims and to conduct outbound calls for account collections.

The role supports remote work for local candidates and requires handling confidential information with accuracy and HIPAA compliance. Typical schedule includes a Mon–Thu shift between mornings and evenings, with Fri and occasional Saturdays.

Competenze

• 3 to 5 years of experience in medical billing.
• Experience in collections and working with patients, providers, and insurers.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and FDCPA guidelines and regulations.
• Knowledge of medical coding, billing, and third-party billing procedures.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.

Mansioni

• Make outbound calls to collect, post, and manage account payments.
• Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies electronically or manually.
• Identify and resolve patient billing issues and complaints.
• Evaluate patient financial status and set up payment plans.
• Report on status of delinquent accounts and resubmit denied claims.
• Translate patient information into medical codes and maintain confidentiality.
