Modena Allergy + Asthma is hiring a Medical Biller/Coder for a fully remote role in the United States. The ideal candidate will review documentation, code with ICD-10-CM/CPT/HCPCS, and submit claims while ensuring payer compliance and accurate records.

We seek 2+ years of billing/coding experience, familiarity with EMR and billing software, and strong attention to detail. Remote work with a solid benefits package supports growth within a rapidly expanding practice.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of medical billing and coding experience.
• Experience in Allergy & Asthma, Pulmonary, ENT, or specialty practice preferred.
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC), CCS, or CPB preferred.

Responsabilités

• Review provider documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Assign ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes for visits, procedures, and tests.
• Submit clean claims electronically and monitor status for timely reimbursement.
• Correct claim edits, rebill, and assist with appeals as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient and billing records in the PM system.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, payer policies, and regulations.
