Job summary

Modena Health is seeking a Medical Biller/Coder to join our growing remote billing team. You will review clinical documentation, assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes, and ensure proper billing and reimbursement for allergy and immunology services.

The role requires at least two years of medical billing and coding experience, proficiency with EMR and practice management software, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of medical billing and coding experience.
• Experience in allergy, asthma, or specialty practice preferred.
• Proficiency with ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS coding.
• Remote work environment with HIPAA-compliant workflows.

Responsibilities

• Review documentation and assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
• Submit clean claims electronically and monitor status for timely reimbursement.
• Correct claim edits, rebill, and assist with denials and appeals.
• Collaborate with providers, insurers, and patients on billing issues.
• Maintain compliant patient and billing records in the PM system.
