Job summary

CareTalk Health is seeking a Remote Medical Assistant to support our Telehealth Services team. This full-time W2 role offers 40 hours per week, mainly within 8am–8pm EST, with rotating weekends. Compensation is $25 per hour, with weekend shifts paid at the same rate.

Responsibilities include scheduling, RTM/RPM support, documentation, patient engagement, and coordinating with providers. A CMA or equivalent clinical experience is preferred, and familiarity with telehealth platforms is required.

Qualifications

• CMA certification or relevant clinical experience preferred.
• Remote patient monitoring or telehealth experience a plus.
• Proficiency with telehealth platforms and virtual communication tools.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling and coordination of medical appointments with providers and patients.
• Participation in RTM and RPM activities and patient follow-up.
• Communicate with nurses and providers to address health-related issues.
• Accurate documentation and record-keeping in EHR systems; ensure privacy compliance.
• Engage with patients as primary point of contact and support overall care journey.
• Facilitate communication among patients, providers, and team members.
