Job summary

CareTalk Health is a remote first telehealth provider seeking a Medical Assistant to support scheduling, patient engagement, and remote monitoring tasks from a home office in the United States. The role involves RTM and RPM activities, patient communication, and accurate documentation within HIPAA-compliant systems. The position is full-time, W2 hourly at $25 per hour, with shifts from 8:00 a.m.

to 8:00 p.m. EST and rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• CMA certification or equivalent clinical experience.
• Experience with remote patient monitoring or telehealth is a plus.
• Proficient with telehealth tools and virtual communication.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate medical appointments between patients and providers.
• Assist in RTM and RPM setup, monitoring, and follow-up.
• Communicate with nurse and provider regarding health queries.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure privacy compliance.
• Engage with patients to support them through their care journey.
• Facilitate clear communication between patients, providers and team members.
