Qualifications

• Proven experience as a medical assistant or virtual assistant in healthcare.
• Experience in remote settings and outbound patient calls.
• Familiarity with EHR systems (Epic, eCW, gGastro).
• HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound calls to patients to complete patient intake calls.
• Manage patient scheduling, appointments, and follow-ups.
• Handle medical records, data entry, and documentation in EHR systems.
• Monitor, triage, and respond to incoming member messages.
• Ensure all patient records are accurately entered into the EHR system and update them as needed.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Provide general administrative support to care team and patients.
• Manage patient tasks to ensure timely documentation and communication for all patients.
