Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners seeks a Remote Revenue Cycle Eligibility Specialist to support uninsured/under-insured patients in Medicaid eligibility processes. You will assess documentation, coordinate submissions, and liaise with patients to ensure accurate applications.

Qualifications include 1–2 years in healthcare, a High School Diploma or GED, and CRCR certification within 9 months. This role offers tuition reimbursement and paid certifications. This position is remote and US-based.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in healthcare, interacting with patients about hospital financial issues.
• Understanding of Revenue Cycle including admission, billing, payments and denials.
• Knowledge of patient insurance processes for authorizations and benefits verification.
• Experience with health insurance requirements, CPT codes, and managed care processes.
• Call Center experience and openness to AI-driven process improvements are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review referred uninsured/under-insured patients for program eligibility opportunities and coordinate applications.
• Communicate with patients to obtain documents required for the application.
• Update insurance information and ensure timely billing or adjustments after submission.
• Document actions and communications in patient accounting systems.
• Maintain knowledge of state/federal program requirements and share with colleagues.
• Develop relationships with Medicaid caseworkers and collaborate with revenue cycle teams.
• Other duties as assigned.
