Job summary

Ensemble is seeking a remote patient access professional to interview uninsured/under-insured patients and determine Medicaid eligibility. You will assist with the application process to ensure accurate submissions and follow up to ensure timely billing or adjustments.

Candidates should have 1-2 years in healthcare and knowledge of revenue cycle processes. Minimum education is a High School Diploma or GED, with CRCR certification required within 9 months of hire (company paid).

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in healthcare industry interacting with patients about hospital financial issues.
• Understanding of Revenue Cycle including admission, billing, payments and denials.
• CRCR certification required within 9 months of hire (Company Paid).

Responsibilities

• Interviews uninsured/under-insured patients to determine eligibility for Medicaid benefits or Financial Assistance programs.
• Assist with application processes to facilitate accurate and appropriate submissions.
• Follow-up on submitted applications to insure timely billing or adjustment processing.
• Review referred patients for program eligibility opportunities and coordinate the application process.
