Job summary

HCA Healthcare seeks a Credentialing Specialist to manage credentialing applications, evaluations and communications with providers and facilities. You will ensure compliance with policy, maintain Cactus records, and prepare reviews for facility leadership.

Experience with the Cactus system and Meditech is preferred, with a High School diploma required and CPCS certification preferred. This role supports remote-enabled collaboration across the Capital Division teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• 1+ year credentialing experience required.
• CPCS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Initiate applications for providers meeting minimum eligibility criteria.
• Apply credentialing evaluation process uniformly to RFC/R-RFC/RFINCP requests.
• Communicate with providers and facility staff to obtain missing information and status.
• Facilitate review of credentialing requests using approved eligibility criteria.
• Prepare credentialing information for facility review and decisions.
• Maintain Cactus records and generate monthly downtime reports.
