Job summary

Core States Group is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to design and manage mechanical engineering projects from concept to completion. You will apply expertise in HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, fire protection, and fuel systems, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver construction documents.

PE licensed professionals are preferred as is experience on commercial projects. This hybrid role offers opportunities to work remote or 1–2 days in the Frisco, TX office, supporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in general building mechanical design production, preferably with commercial projects.
• PE License required.
• Revit and MS Office required, AutoCAD a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visit investigations and generate reports/recommendations based on findings.
• Produce design plans, calculations and reports with limited direction.
• Coordinate with subconsultants, provide client interaction support, establish and maintain phase and task level budgets as well as schedule project phases and tasks.
• Schedule production staff and lead them through tasks, coordinate and assist with addendums, RFIs, and change orders.
• Assist in coordinating the work of a multi-disciplined team throughout the design development and contract document phases of a project.
• Other related responsibilities as necessary to fulfill the objectives of this role.
