Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Mechanical Process Engineer for a client in Brooklyn Park, MN. The role offers mostly remote work with occasional in-office visits and up to 25% travel to client sites.

The candidate should have a mechanical engineering background with fluid handling experience and strong AutoCAD skills to develop and verify process flow diagrams. Responsibilities include editing 2D diagrams, designing machinery, performing flow and pump calculations, and validating designs on-site

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience required.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Enjoy doing engineering calculations.
• Past work experience in fluid handling, piping, pumping, routing etc…
• Must be able to travel up to 25%, domestically.

Responsibilities

• Edit 2D process flow diagrams in AutoCAD
• Design and detail out machines based on the requirements of the systems
• Perform calculations as it relates to flow process design, pump sizing, valve sizing, etc.
• Visit client locations and walk through equipment verifying that process flow designs match the equipment
