Job summary

Oakwell is seeking an engineer to conceptualize and implement 10-year sustainability and decarbonization plans for hospitals and universities. You will work with senior engineers to cut energy use, carbon, and costs while renewing infrastructure and driving electrification, aligning with client master plans.

Role offers remote work with travel to client sites in the Greater Boston Area and has opportunities to influence AI/ML driven analysis and standards development within Oakwell's projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering and 5–7 years of experience.
• Professional Engineering license or active progress toward one.
• Willingness to travel ~20% and proficient with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Audit facilities and MEP systems; document energy use and carbon performance.
• Retro-commission mechanical systems and energy management.
• Develop ROI-driven Energy Conservation Measures and model savings.
