Nexis Builds is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our remote engineering team. Based in the United States, you will design mechanical systems for large-scale infrastructure projects, applying CAD tools and simulation to optimize performance and sustainability.

You will collaborate with civil and structural engineers, analyze feasibility, and contribute to manufacturing optimization, aligning with ASME/ASTM standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of mechanical design experience.
• Proficiency in CAD software: SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA.
• Familiarity with ASME/ASTM/ISO standards and regualtory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and systems for large-scale projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies, stress analysis, and lifecycle assessments.
• Optimize designs for cost-effectiveness and sustainability.
• Collaborate with civil/structural engineers and suppliers to ensure project success.
