Job summary

Alignerr Corp. is seeking mechanical engineers to shape AI through problem design, solution authoring, and rigorous reasoning audits. Remote freelance role with flexible hours (10–40 hrs/week). Advanced degree required and expertise in dynamics, thermodynamics, and CAD/CAM will be leveraged to challenge AI models.

No AI prior experience is required; strong technical writing and attention to detail are essential. Work with a global expert community on cutting-edge AI research.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or closely related field.
• Deep expertise in fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, solid mechanics, CAD/CAM, or manufacturing processes.
• Strong technical writing to clearly describe complex physical phenomena and derivations.
• Detail-oriented with precision in unit conversions and constraints.
• No prior AI experience required – engineering expertise is sufficient.

Responsibilities

• Design advanced engineering problems across domains like FEA, heat transfer, kinematics, fluid mechanics, and materials to rigorously test AI performance.
• Author ground-truth solutions and benchmarks for AI learning and evaluation.
• Audit AI-generated CAD logic, thermodynamic proofs, and material specifications for safety and compliance with standards (ASME, ISO).
• Identify and correct logical errors in AI reasoning and provide structured feedback to improve model accuracy.
