PAHO is seeking an International PAHO Consultant to analyze the epidemiological situation of measles and rubella in the Americas and to develop monitoring tools. The consultant will update the CIM situation room, coordinate weekly data checks, and assist in SitRep preparation, ensuring bilingual English/Spanish outputs for CIM regional teams.

The role runs offsite from November 17, 2026 to April 30, 2027, with potential travel and per diem as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in public health or related field.
• Demonstrated proficiency in generation, quality control, and analysis of epidemiological data.
• Experience writing technical documents and scientific publications.

Responsabilités

• Maintain the CIM virtual measles–rubella situation room with up‑to‑date data.
• Prepare regional SitRep and ensure CIM updates are reflected in reports.
• Keep presentations in English and Spanish current and shared with CIM Regional Advisors.
• Contribute to technical reports and regional surveillance protocols.
