Job summary

UN Atlas is seeking a senior public health analyst to support the Special Comprehensive Immunization Program in analyzing measles and rubella in the Region. The role involves data synthesis and monitoring to inform regional health strategies.

The incumbent will coordinate with the Pillar 1 team, prepare regional reports in English and Spanish, and help develop surveillance protocols and tools for tracking outbreaks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's and Master's degrees in public health or related fields are required.
• Minimal 7 years of work experience in public health and/or immunizations.
• Proven ability to generate, quality-check, and analyze epidemiological data.
• Experience writing technical documents and scientific publications.

Responsibilities

• Keep the CIM's virtual measles-rubella situation room up to date by coordinating with the Pillar 1 team and performing weekly data searches.
• Analyze surveillance data for morbidity and mortality and propose corrective actions.
• Contribute to regional SitRep and technical reports and maintain English/Spanish presentations.
• Assist in developing regional protocols for measles and rubella surveillance.
