Job summary

Z-Radar is recruiting a full-time MDS Support Specialist in New York to conduct MDS assessments, ensure CMS compliance, and leadCAAs under leadership direction. The position emphasizes independence, team collaboration, and robust EMR proficiency in a remote setting.

You will work with PDPM/case-mix reimbursement, Quality Measures, and Five Star programs while communicating clearly with interdisciplinary teams and maintaining high standards. Position offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

Proficient with PDPM and case-mix reimbursement methodologies.
Experience with MDS assessments and CMS guidelines.
Knowledge of Quality Measures and Five Star metrics.
Familiarity with PCC and Net Health EMR systems; willingness to learn others.

Responsibilities

Complete MDS assessments including Medicare PPS and OBRA requirements as directed.
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of assessments in compliance with CMS guidance.
Complete CAAs or other care planning requirements as directed by Leadership.
Attend interdisciplinary meetings and communicate assessment status to facility team.
Perform general activities aligned with industry norms for this role.
Work full-time, at-will employment, with remote service delivery.
