Job summary

Concept Rehab & Engage Consulting seeks a Clinical Reimbursement Consultant to remotely support SNFs with MDS completion, PDPM coding, case-mix analysis and audits. The role emphasizes accuracy, critical thinking and independent work within a professional consulting team.

The RN must have substantial MDS experience, familiarity with EMR systems, and strong communication skills to train and mentor clients while aligning with CMS requirements and Five-Star goals.

Qualifications

• RN with active nursing licensure.
• Minimum five years of MDS completion in a SNF.
• RAC-CT certification preferred.
• Intermediate knowledge of SNF reimbursement and PDPM.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Provide interim MDS completion services with accurate scheduling, completion, and submission per RAI guidelines.
• Conduct SNF auditing focusing on reimbursement accuracy and case-mix management.
• Deliver professional consulting to Engage Consulting customers on MDS/Skilled Nursing Facility topics.
• Support SNF reimbursement and operations.
• Maintain current geriatric care regulatory knowledge including CMS and state guidelines.
• Demonstrate ethical guidance and sound judgement for SNF practices.
• Assist Senior Practice Manager and Director of Clinical Consulting as needed.
• Be familiar with EMR programs (PointClickCare, MatrixCare).
• Work remotely with occasional travel as required.
