Qualifications

• 5+ years of Business Analyst experience, preferably in data management, MDM, data governance, or enterprise data initiatives.
• Experience working with financial services or consulting for banking/financial clients.
• Strong ability to interview stakeholders, identify business needs, and translate into functional requirements and use cases.
• Understanding of Master Data Management concepts, especially Customer/Party MDM, and how data supports processes.
• Experience with current/future-state analysis, process mapping, data flow mapping, and requirements documentation.
• Familiarity with data governance, stewardship, metadata, lineage, and audit trails.
• Knowledge of data quality frameworks, remediation workflows, and entity resolution.
• Preference for experience with AI-based data quality, entity resolution, or data disambiguation.
• Excellent communication with business and technical stakeholders; comfortable leading client interviews.
• Proven track record in remote consulting environments with multitasking and limited supervision.
• Ability to work in mixed teams of clients, consultants, and SMEs.
• Strong PowerPoint/Excel/Word/Visio skills; comfortable creating client-ready documentation and process flows.
• Experience with Jira and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Partner with client stakeholders to document prioritized customer and party MDM use cases, benefits, KPIs, and success criteria.
• Lead interviews and sessions with business users, data owners, and IT teams to capture requirements.
• Analyze current processes and data environments to define future-state requirements for customer master data.
• Create functional MDM blueprints for governance, Master data, maintenance, and distribution.
• Document data flows and inventories showing data movement across functions and systems.
• Define data quality requirements, controls, monitoring, remediation workflows, and auditability.
• Document requirements for entity resolution, matching, survivorship, and trusted customer records.
• Help define target-state data governance models with ownership, stewardship, decision rights, and issue handling.
• Support development of MDM implementation roadmaps, priorities, dependencies, and mobilization plans.
• Prepare BRDs, process flows, functional docs, and client-ready recommendations.
