Job summary

Virtual Preparatory Academy of Florida is seeking a Mathematics Instructional Coach to provide targeted coaching to math teachers in grades 3–10. You will help plan and implement rigorous, standards-aligned math instruction, model best practices, and offer actionable feedback to strengthen classroom teaching.

You will collaborate with teachers to develop effective lessons, analyze student data, and differentiate supports to meet diverse learner needs across online and in-person events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education preferred.
• Five+ years in education with math instruction expertise.
• Strong knowledge of math standards, curriculum, assessment, and best practices.
• Experience coaching or mentoring teachers is preferred.
• Ability to analyze student achievement data and translate findings into instructional action.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized and small-group instructional coaching to mathematics teachers in grades 3–10.
• Support planning and implementation of rigorous, standards-aligned math instruction.
• Model effective practices and give actionable feedback to strengthen classroom instruction.
• Collaborate with teachers to develop lessons, strategies, and interventions based on student needs.
• Assist teachers in using data to identify gaps and adjust instruction.
