Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field and five years teaching experience.
Two years of coaching/mentoring experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong math pedagogical knowledge and ability to apply critical thinking.
Knowledge of state content standards aligned to K12 curriculum.
Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

Researches and provides content knowledge and guidance on effective math practices for teachers.
Coordinates pilots of instructional materials and software implementations.
Monitors student progress through interactive lessons and daily assessments.
Coordinates reading intervention initiatives for grades K-5.
Collects and reviews student work samples and reports findings.
Escalates concerns about student performance to administrators.
