Job summary

Bowman is seeking a Marketing Specialist to join our team remotely. The role supports sales and marketing initiatives, producing proposals and collateral for public and private development projects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Ideal candidates have at least two years in professional services marketing with proposal development, proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office, and strong writing and project-management skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years professional services marketing experience with emphasis and clear understanding of proposal development (AEC preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field preferred; commensurate experience considered.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent writing, editing and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong graphic design and layout capabilities.
• Flexibility to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare proposals in response to RFPs and teaming opportunities for public/private projects.
• Develop marketing content with a balance of strategy and creative execution.
• Mentor junior staff in design principles, branding, and layout practices.
• Assist business development with prequalification and lead tracking.
• Prepare presentations and support interview preparation.
• Produce brochures, project profiles, resumes, and other collateral.
• Create visuals to support proposals and corporate initiatives.
• Maintain efficient marketing processes and record-keeping per department standards.
• Support management of the project resume database and graphics library.
• Coordinate or participate in industry events, tradeshows, and recruiting activities.
• Research client/market data to support strategy development.
• Complete day-to-day marketing tasks and projects as requested.
