Job summary

Zapier is seeking a Finance Manager, Marketing to own financial planning and analysis for marketing. You will partner with marketing leadership, own budgets, forecasts, and reporting, and deliver insights to optimize spend and ROI across programs and campaigns.

You will build models for spend, headcount, and investments, support monthly closes, and present results to senior leaders with clear recommendations. This is a fully remote role across North America.

Qualifications

• Experience in finance, financial planning and analysis, or accounting, ideally supporting a marketing or go-to-market organization.
• Strong financial modeling skills and experience with budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Experience partnering with non-finance leaders and translating financial data into business decisions.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
• A detail-oriented, analytical approach and comfort working with large data sets and financial systems.
• Experience in a SaaS or technology company is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a fully remote, distributed team across North America.

Responsibilities

• Own the marketing budget, forecast, and long-range plan, partnering with marketing leaders to set targets and track progress.
• Build and maintain financial models for marketing spend, headcount, and program investment.
• Deliver monthly and quarterly reporting, including variance analysis and commentary on results against plan.
• Partner with marketing leaders on pricing, vendor, and investment decisions, providing clear financial analysis and recommendations.
• Support the monthly close for marketing, working with accounting to ensure accurate accruals and reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, measurement, and return on marketing investment.
• Present financial results and plans to leadership in a clear, concise, and actionable way.
