Job summary

Daikin Applied Americas is seeking a Marketing Engineer for the Chiller business unit. The role identifies product opportunities and executes marketing strategies to win business, working with the product manager to bring new products to market.

The engineer serves as a technical lead for sustaining and new product development, collecting market feedback to create compelling collateral and support sales forecasting and ROI projections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of related experience in industrial machinery manufacturing, preferably in the HVAC industry.
• Ability to travel <15%

Responsibilities

• Support air-cooled chiller models.
• Provide marketing support for new product development and sustaining products.
• Manage development and maintenance of literature and promotional tools.
• Direct development or maintenance of sales or selection software.
• Perform marketing evaluations for distribution needs, customer needs, market trends, competition, P&L requirements, pricing levels, and recommend appropriate action.
• Develop and maintain strategic information and documents to guide sales team on how to strategically sell Daikin products.
• Assist product manager with information for sales forecasting and ROI projections.
