Job summary

Tutu Collective Inc. is seeking a Marketing Assistant to support local marketing efforts across our California and East Coast regions with a focus on events, partnerships, community outreach, and lead generation.

You will manage the full cycle of events and partnerships, pitch opportunities, coordinate staffing, and collaborate with the Marketing team to drive trial classes and memberships while working in a hybrid schedule. Flexible 10-20 hours per week, evenings and weekends required.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to build relationships with local businesses and partners.
• Strong written and verbal communication for outreach and follow-up.
• Experience coordinating events, campaigns or partnerships.
• Ability to manage multiple events across regions with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Canva and basic marketing content creation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue local events, partnerships, sponsorships, and community marketing opportunities across regions.
• Own the full event lifecycle: research, outreach, pitching, prep, staffing, execution, and follow-up.
• Confidently pitch partnerships through email, calls, video calls, and in-person talks.
• Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, schools, families, influencers, and groups.
• Coordinate events: logistics, materials, staffing, schedules, assets, on-site needs.
• Represent the brand professionally at events and activations.
• Follow up with attendees and leads to drive trials, studio visits, and memberships.
• Track results and identify opportunities to improve future activations.
