Job summary

Tutu Collective Inc. is seeking a Marketing Assistant to support local marketing efforts, events, partnerships, and lead generation across multiple markets. This role emphasizes relationship-building with community partners and driving trial classes and memberships.

The position requires 10-20 hours per week in a hybrid setup, with on-site participation at events. Located in Brooklyn, NY or other markets, remote collaboration is common, and Canva/Asana skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong sales and relationship-building skills with the confidence to initiate conversations and pitch opportunities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills across diverse audiences.
• Professional, polished, and comfortable being the first point of contact with potential partners.
• Experience working with influencers, partnerships, events, community marketing, or business development.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
• Able to manage multiple events, partnerships, and deadlines across different regions.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
• Comfortable communicating via email, phone, video calls, and in person.
• Creative and resourceful with ideas to connect with local families and businesses.
• Experience with Canva and Asana is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the full event lifecycle—from research, outreach, pitching, to staffing and follow-up.
• Support local marketing and lead generation initiatives to increase brand awareness.
• Collaborate with Social Media Coordinator to create content for events and campaigns.
• Assist with creating graphics and promotional materials; help capture event content.
• Support paid social and digital campaigns; align organic and paid efforts.
