Job summary

Instacart is hiring an Analytics Engineer II to build and evolve the marketing analytics data foundation. You will design and deliver high-quality data models and ETL pipelines that data scientists and analysts trust, owning your work end-to-end.

You'll collaborate across data, marketing, and engineering, ensure data quality, write tests and docs, and improve observability and pipeline performance.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in Analytics Eng / Data Eng roles with production data models.
• Strong SQL and dimensional modeling experience.
• Experience with dbt, Snowflake, Airflow.
• Knowledge of marketing data metrics and attribution.
• Ability to deliver end-to-end data assets with quality code.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain marketing analytics data models and ETL pipelines.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Marketing stakeholders.
• Own data quality with tests, docs, and monitoring.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and share designs publicly.
• Improve pipelines and observability; participate in incident response.
