Job summary

Instacart is seeking a senior Marketing AI engineer to redefine Marketing operations with AI-native workflows. You will lead cross-functional teams, from product and marketing to data partners, to identify slow manual processes and rebuild them for scale and impact.

You will own end-to-end delivery, ensure adoption, and orchestrate AI initiatives across campaigns, channels, and vendors while shaping the org's AI strategy.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in marketing operations or strategy.
• Proven builder shipping AI-powered workflows.
• Hands-on experience with frontier AI tools.
• Experience building agentic systems and orchestration.
• Adoption-minded approach to product development.
• Strong communication across audiences from IC to leadership.
• Prioritization discipline to say no to low-value requests.

Responsibilities

• Identify high-impact Marketing workflows and rebuild them AI-native.
• Own end-to-end delivery from design to measurement and leadership buy-in.
• Develop and maintain an intake framework to prioritize work.
• Drive adoption with change management and internal storytelling.
• Coordinate AI initiatives across Marketing goals and vendors.
