CareSource offers a paid 12-week internship program designed for college students seeking real-world experience and career preparation. Interns support on special projects and initiatives across departments, with mentorship and opportunities to learn from CareSource leaders.

During the program, interns analyze data, participate in cross-team meetings, and gain exposure to NCQA health plan accreditation processes and HEDIS measures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current Rising Junior or Senior in an accredited degree program or graduated within the last 6 months is required.

Responsabilités

• Analyze internal and external data sets.
• Attend cross disciplinary team meetings and workstreams to understand departmental initiatives and advocate for appropriate information.
• Create and execute a survey to understand member needs, preferences, and experiences. Upon receiving results, summarize responses, and utilize results to inform how CareSource could best respond to opportunities identified.
• Immersion in NCQA and health plan accreditation, HEDIS measures, and Quality Improvement science through preparing documentation and required components for Ohio Medicaid's NCQA Health Outcome accreditation.
