Job summary

Baylor Genetics seeks a Market Access Channel Strategy Lead, Managed Care, to drive access decisions and contract development for BG tests in the Northeast US. This remote, field-based director-level role emphasizes payer engagement and coverage attainment.

You will build relationships with payers, lead cross-functional initiatives with market access, medical affairs and sales, and develop strategic plans to expand in-network contracts while aligning with company goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 8+ years of direct experience with U.S. payer accounts.
• Experience with health plans and IPAs preferred.
• Demonstrated success with coverage policies and contract closure.
• Genomics/NGS knowledge is a plus.
• Biopharma account management experience welcome.

Responsibilities

• Achieve access and coverage decisions for BG tests by understanding customer needs and generating solutions.
• Meet or exceed account objectives for Northeast and Gulf regions.
• Grow managed care book of business with in-network contracts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional BG teams on strategic initiatives.
• Provide external insights to inform BG’s test access strategy.
• Develop account plans and present data and value messages compliantly.
• Lead contract delivery, business reviews, and performance tracking.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and guidelines.
