Job summary

The Hartford seeks a Marine Cargo & Logistics Claims Consultant to investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve high-exposure claims across domestic and international transportation, warehousing, and logistics operations.

You will manage a portfolio of logistics and marine cargo claims from first notice of loss through resolution, coordinating with insureds, brokers, underwriters, and legal counsel while applying coverage knowledge and loss-prevention insights.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience handling logistics, transportation and marine cargo claims.
• Experience with high-value and complex transportation or supply chain losses is a plus.
• Domestic and international cargo claims and recovery actions are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Analyze coverage, investigate losses, and adjust claims per policy language and laws.
• Manage a portfolio of logistics and marine cargo claims from first notice of loss to resolution.
• Coordinate with insureds, brokers, underwriters, surveyors, attorneys, and other stakeholders.
