Job summary

Siemens Energy in the United States is seeking a Field Service Engineer with direct experience servicing integrated industrial automation solutions for Marine and Oil & Gas sectors. You will travel to customer sites to troubleshoot, test, maintain, and commission systems using Siemens PLC, HMI/SCADA, and related control technologies.

You will collaborate with local engineering teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions, plan workloads, and communicate clearly in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, required.
Minimum 5+ years in Marine or offshore industries.
Hands-on PLC/SCADA experience and control-system design or service.
Familiar with NA and international codes and OSHA safety procedures.
Strong organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Commission customized automation solutions for marine systems.
Test, troubleshoot, and commission automation solutions with Siemens PLC/HMI/SCADA.
Coordinate with local engineering teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions.
Travel extensively in the US (up to 80%) and participate in international trainings.
