Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Solutions Architect to lead end-to-end manufacturing architectures and the integration of ERP, MES, WMS, PLM, PLCs, SCADA, historians, and Industrial IoT across multiple plants and regions. This remote role focuses on designing scalable platforms and defining data flows that connect enterprise IT with manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field.
8–11 years of experience in solutions architecture or manufacturing systems.
Strong understanding of IT/OT integration and manufacturing tech.
Experience with ERP, MES, WMS, PLM, PLC, SCADA, historians, and Industrial IoT.

Responsibilities

Design and integrate manufacturing systems across IT and OT environments.
Define APIs, data flows, integration patterns, interfaces, and scalable platforms.
Translate business and manufacturing requirements into practical technical architectures.
Support architecture and integration initiatives across multiple plants and regions.
Establish technical standards, testing strategies, specifications, and implementation guidelines.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, manufacturing, IT, OT, and technology teams.
Provide technical leadership and direction to project teams.
