Job summary

Beacon Hill is seeking a Manufacturing Systems Solution Architect to join a pharmaceutical client based in North Chicago, IL. This role is 100% remote and will support CST, with responsibilities spanning enterprise IT and shop-floor OT environments.

The ideal candidate has 9+ years designing and integrating ERP, MES, WMS, PLM, PLCs, SCADA, historians, and IIoT, with the ability to define scalable architectures and data flows across multiple plants or regions.

Our Pharmaceutical client is actively seeking a Manufacturing Systems Solution Architect to join their growing team based out of North Chicago, IL

This role is 100% remote and will support CST

Summary

• The ideal candidate will bring 9+ years of experience designing and integrating manufacturing systems across enterprise IT and operational technology environments. Key experience should include ERP, MES, WMS, PLM, PLCs, SCADA, historians, industrial IoT, and shop-floor equipment, along with the ability to define end-to-end architectures, APIs, data flows, integration patterns, and scalable platforms across multiple plants or regions.

Day to Day

• Develops and implements policies and procedures to ensure that systems support the organization’s business requirements and meet the needs of end users.
• Defines systems requirements based on user/client needs, cost, and required integration with existing applications, systems, or platforms. Defines technical standards and functionality tests. May develop specifications, prototypes, or initial user guides.
• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Supports unique/rare skills or niche/emerging technologies, such as BIG Data, CRM, Enterprise Architect, SAP, and TIBCO.
