Job summary

CyberCoders seeks a proactive Manufacturing Engineer to optimize automotive production processes, drive Lean/Six Sigma improvements, and reduce waste. The role involves cross-functional collaboration with design, quality, supply chain and maintenance teams.

You will lead root-cause analysis (DMAIC, FMEA) and guide process improvements, including time studies, capacity planning, and equipment validation. Relocation assistance is offered for the right candidate.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, preferably in heavy industry.
  • Lean and Six Sigma experience; Green Belt/Black Belt a plus.
  • Experience with FMEA, SPC and root-cause analysis; knowledge of automation/PLC equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and optimize manufacturing processes for automotive production.
  • Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions using Six Sigma methods.
  • Implement Lean initiatives (5S, SMED, Kaizen, value stream mapping) to cut waste.
  • Collaborate with design, quality, supply chain and maintenance for manufacturability.
  • Create process docs, work instructions, and SOPs.
  • Conduct time studies and capacity analyses to improve throughput.
  • Support installation and validation of new manufacturing equipment and automation.
  • Track KPIs and report improvements to stakeholders.
  • Train production staff on process changes, quality standards and safety.
  • Willingness to relocate; relocation assistance offered.
