Job summary

BodorLaser is seeking a highly motivated Sales Manager/Engineer or Account Manager for a fully remote role based in Pennsylvania, with travel to clients across the Mid-Atlantic region. You will drive Western Pennsylvania sales growth, nurture relationships, and coordinate with internal teams to deliver tailored laser-cutting solutions.

The ideal candidate has 2–10 years in sales or technical roles within manufacturing, strong English communication, and willingness to relocate to PA if needed.

Qualifications

• Strong self-motivation and proactive approach with excellent business communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English; basic Mandarin Chinese.
• Must reside in Pennsylvania or be willing to relocate to Pennsylvania.
• Travel for overnight business approximately 25% of the time within the assigned territory.
• Proficiency in using CRM systems and creating reports and presentations.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment across time zones.
• Occasionally work outside regular business hours.
• Experience managing cross-departmental workflows and processes.
• Bachelor’s degree or above.
• 2–10 years of experience in sales or technical roles within the machine tool or manufacturing industry.
• Ability to work under pressure and ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, focusing on Western Pennsylvania and expanding to PA, NJ, MD, and DE.
• Develop sales opportunities across Pennsylvania and nearby states.
• Analyze market trends and report findings to optimize sales strategy.
• Manage the full sales process from lead generation to closing deals and meeting targets.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Service teams to meet customer needs.
• Provide technical support to clients and troubleshoot product issues.
• Assist with organizing and attending trade shows and events.
• Regularly visit customer sites to maintain relationships and present solutions.
• Coordinate with Product teams to align on equipment requirements.
• Prepare and deliver detailed proposals and presentations.
• Report sales progress and challenges to the supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned.
