Job summary

Bodor Laser USA is seeking a driven Sales Manager/Engineer to cover the West Coast remotely with regular travel to customers. You will manage the full sales cycle, present technical solutions, and collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Service teams to meet customer needs.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, self-motivation, and the ability to work across time zones. Mandarin basics are a plus; 25% travel in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Strong self-motivation and proactive approach with excellent business communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Ability to travel for overnight business approximately 25% of the time within the U.S., mainly on the West Coast.
• Experience using CRM systems and creating reports and presentations.
• Capability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-time-zone environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities while nurturing existing customer relationships.
• Analyze market trends in the assigned region and report findings to management for strategy optimization.
• Manage the entire sales process—from generating leads to closing deals—meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Service teams to ensure customer needs are met and issues resolved.
• Provide technical support to clients, troubleshoot product issues, and recommend improvements.
• Visit customer sites regularly to maintain relationships and present solutions.
• Prepare and deliver detailed proposals and presentations based on customer specifications.
• Report regularly on sales progress and challenges to the supervisor.
