Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Mandarin
• Minimum 2 years of interpretation experience
• Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills to maintain accuracy
• Ability to render concepts per interpretation protocols, avoiding omissions or additions
• Ability to explain cultural concepts to avoid miscommunication

Responsibilities

• Answer calls professionally, following interpreter’s code of conduct
• Be familiar with industry-specific vocabulary (healthcare and medical terminology)
• Participate in internal professional training
• Communicate and report to your team leader
