ContactLink Solutions LLC is seeking a skilled Mandarin interpreter for a fully remote, full-time contractor position. You will provide Mandarin-English interpretation, handle healthcare terminology, and maintain high accuracy while following professional conduct.

Ideal candidates bring fluent English and Mandarin, at least two years of interpretation experience, strong listening and note-taking skills, and the ability to work independently in a quiet, secure environment.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Mandarin
• Minimum 2 year of interpretation experience
• Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills to maintain a high level of accuracy
• Ability to render correct concepts and meanings according to established interpretation protocols, avoiding omissions or additions
• Ability to explain certain cultural concepts to avoid miscommunication, with permission or at the request of the client

Responsibilities

• Answer calls professionally, acting according to the interpreter’s code of conduct
• Be familiar with industry-specific vocabulary (especially healthcare and medical terminology)
• Participate in internal professional training
• Communicate and report to your team leader
