Job summary

KeyBank is seeking a Managing Director for Specialty Finance Lending (SFL) in Colorado to independently manage the full range of activities from new business origination through transaction close and active account management during the life of the financing facility.

The MD will mentor junior team members, lead syndication efforts when needed, and cultivate new markets while maintaining extensive product knowledge and client relationships to maximize revenue and fees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in business or finance required.
• 15+ years of corporate finance, lending and leasing experience; 5+ years in structured facilities for specialty lending.
• 10+ years of senior level financial sales experience with proven success.

Responsibilities

• Source and manage SFL facilities from origination to close and ongoing administration.
• Lead and mentor junior sales personnel; train and develop syndication capabilities.
• Assist in syndication of SFL facilities and develop potential partners.
• Develop market opportunities; prepare position papers/white papers for expansion opportunities.
• Develop cross-sell opportunities with product partners and manage portfolio growth.
• Maintain client relationships and maximize revenue from existing facilities; manage fees.
• Attend industry conferences and stay current on market trends.
• Comply with KeyBank policies and ethics.
