Job summary

Novonesis is seeking a high-impact leader for the North American Ruminant Technical Service team. You will guide technical strategy, develop talent, and partner with Commercial, Marketing, R&D, Regulatory, and Innovation to bring science-based solutions to dairies, beef operations, and forage customers across North America.

Requires a PhD, DVM or equivalent, 8+ years in animal nutrition/health and 5+ years of leadership. Travel up to 50% domestically, remote work option available.

Qualifications

• PhD, DVM, or equivalent advanced degree required.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in animal nutrition, animal health, technical services, research, consulting, or related industries.
• Minimum of 5 years of direct leadership experience, including coaching and developing technical professionals.
• Strong understanding of dairy and/or beef production systems.
• Proven ability to partner with commercial teams to deliver customer value.

Responsibilities

• Lead North American Ruminant Technical Service team and deliver technical expertise across probiotic, enzyme, feed additive, and silage solutions.
• Develop and execute strategy for ruminant technical service; collaborate with Sales, Marketing, R&D, Regulatory, and Innovation.
• Provide executive-level technical support for strategic customer opportunities and complex challenges.
• Engage with producers, nutritionists, veterinarians, consultants and industry influencers; translate science into customer value.
• Oversee trials, field validation programs, and research collaborations; represent the company at industry events.

Education

PhD, DVM, or equivalent advanced degree in Animal Science, Dairy Science, Ruminant Nutrition, Veterinary Medicine, or a related field
