Job summary

Vultr is seeking a Manager, Network Connectivity & Carrier Strategy to own how our new data center sites connect to the world. You will assess fiber and carrier options, negotiate with national and regional carriers, and decide where to place network pops to support global growth.

You will lead a small team of carrier relations professionals and partner with Network Architecture, Engineering and Operations to turn greenfield sites into on-net, production-ready facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience negotiating MSAs, NDAs, colocation agreements and IRUs.
• Deep knowledge of fiber construction and backbone deployment.
• Proven track record leading carrier relations teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end site connectivity selection process.
• Map regional fiber and carrier infrastructure using industry tools.
• Negotiate carrier contracts and service agreements.
• Lead engineering sessions with carriers to align budgets and timelines.
• Manage and mentor a small carrier-relations team.
• Advise leadership on where to build next based on capability and demand.
• Partner with Network Engineering on connectivity design and POP turn-up.
• Track performance and refine carrier engagement playbook.
• Evaluate self-build fiber opportunities when advantageous.
