Job summary

Nimble is seeking a Contract Specialist to implement and maintain our managed care contracting strategy in a multi-state environment. You will join the Managed Care Department to learn in a fast-paced setting and collaborate with clients to achieve favorable contract outcomes.

Responsibilities include negotiating with payers, analyzing terms, and maintaining contract documentation while staying updated on regulatory changes and market trends. 0–2 years' experience encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience; recent graduates encouraged to apply
• Strong analytical and critical thinking with ability to interpret data
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for non-technical stakeholders
• Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling tools
• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain accurate files for each pending and executed contract; provide updates to clients
• Negotiate with payers on behalf of facilities and providers
• Analyze contract terms, reimbursement structures, and financial impact
• Develop actionable recommendations from data analysis and present to clients
• Collaborate with clients to tailor negotiation strategies
• Assist in resolving billing or contractual issues with insurers
• Evaluate and renegotiate contracts with health plans and providers
• Load and validate payer contract terms into client systems
• Maintain organized documentation and version control for contracts
• Track regulatory updates and market trends affecting reimbursement
• Support payer escalations, audits, and strategic decisions
