Job summary

OB Hospitalist Group (OBHG) seeks a detail-oriented Managed Care Contract Analyst to support OBtelecare contracting, payer agreement analysis, and Revenue Cycle Management from a remote location.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in managed care contracting, strong analytical skills, and experience interpreting payer agreements. You will collaborate with RCM, operations, credentialing, payer enrollment, and payer relations teams to optimize reimbursement and contract performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in managed care contracting or related healthcare roles.
• Strong understanding of revenue cycle management and payer operations.
• Ability to analyze complex payer agreements and identify improvements.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel; experience with contract or RCM systems.

Responsibilities

• Support contracting strategies, payer research, and agreement maintenance.
• Review and summarize payer agreements, terms, and enrollment details.
• Evaluate fee schedules, reimbursement terms, and variances.
• Maintain contract summary sheets, payer lists, and reports.
• Collaborate with RCM, operations, credentialing, and payer teams to resolve issues.
• Create ad-hoc data analyses on payment trends and denials.
• Maintain training materials on payer requirements.
• Ensure PHI handling complies with policies and regulations.
