Job summary

Mission Edge is seeking a dynamic Major Gifts Manager to lead individual fundraising efforts, securing annual funding through donor identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. You will engage with donors, conduct discovery visits, and pitch campaigns, reporting to the Executive Director and supervising the Development Coordinator.

The role supports Planet Women as a fiscally sponsored project and requires building strong donor relationships in a fully virtual, remote environment

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of major gift fundraising experience with a track record in managing a discovery portfolio.
• Experience building and maintaining relationships with individual major donors and closing gifts of $25,000 or more.
• Experience managing multiple prospects and donors.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements individualized cultivation, solicitation and recognition strategies for the individual giving portfolio.
• Builds and actively manages a portfolio of donors capable of giving $10,000 to $100,000+ annually.
• Supervise the Development Coordinator and coordinate with Development and Communications teams.
