Job summary

Converge Enterprise is seeking a Solutions and Innovations Consultant to guide clients through automation strategy and platform modernization in a remote US setting. You will leverage Lean and Agile thinking to lead projects, influence architecture decisions, and deliver high-impact solutions across diverse industries.

The role requires deep z/OS, COBOL/PL/I/Assembler/Java experience, DevOps practices, and strong communication skills to collaborate with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• BA or BS or equivalent required.
• IBM zSeries Tech Version 1 cert preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in customer-facing roles with strong presentation skills.
• Experience with IBM zEnterprise Hybrid Computing offerings (zLinux, zCX, IDAA) and DB2 DBA support.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide complex projects to successful client outcomes.
• Lead automation and modernization initiatives across client environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement Lean/Agile solutions.
• Diagnose and resolve mainframe issues across z/OS environments.
