Leidos is seeking a Mainframe Systems Security Analyst to support a government agency's mainframe RACF and identity management work. Remote role with potential on-call shifts for batch processing and monitoring.

Qualifications

• BS degree and 4 years of experience; experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
• Experience analyzing government mainframe systems.
• Experience managing mainframe user accounts and security environment for a large government agency supporting Medical claims processing and a common workload file (CWF).
• Expertise with IBM RACF and Vanguard Security tools.
• Expertise with mainframe and host based security.
• Experience with audit and the security review process for RACF.
• Ability to utilize Incident ticket system to open, resolve, close tickets and Service Requests.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
• Strong work ethic with good time management with the ability to work with diverse teams and lead meetings.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain mainframe RACF environment and monitor security access patterns.
• Create and delete user accounts on various mainframe systems.
• Confirm proper permissions to restrict access to sensitive data.
• Work with Infrastructure Services to roll out security updates across mainframe environments.
• Serve as primary contact for researching corrections to mainframe security and access questions.
• Provide regular reporting on production and UAT security and identity management issues.
• Perform user and security audits of the RACF environment.
• Potential on-call shifts to support batch processing and monitoring.
