Job summary

Responsibilities include maintaining the RACF environment, managing user accounts, enforcing permissions, and coordinating security updates with Infrastructure Services. You will provide regular security reporting and audits, and may work on-call for batch processing.

Qualifications

• BS degree and 4 years of experience in government mainframe systems.
• Experience analyzing government mainframe systems.
• Experience managing mainframe user accounts and security for large government agencies.
• Expertise with IBM RACF and Vanguard Security tools.
• Experience with audit and security reviews for RACF.
• Proficient with incident ticket systems (open/resolve tickets).
• Excellent communication with internal and external customers.
• US residency for CMS programs (3 of last 5 years).

Responsibilities

• Maintain mainframe RACF environment and monitor security access patterns.
• Create and delete user accounts on various mainframe systems.
• Confirm proper permissions to restrict access to sensitive data.
• Coordinate security updates rollout with Infrastructure Services.
• Serve as primary contact for RACF/security questions.
• Provide regular production and UAT security reports.
• Perform user and security audits of RACF.
• Possibility to work on-call shifts for batch processing and monitoring.
