The role requires 3-5 years of specialized mainframe experience, strong SDLC proficiency, and a US citizenship. Remote work within the United States is supported with opportunities for enterprise collaboration and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in mainframe application development, support and maintenance.
• Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and VSAM with SDLC methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Mainframe applications using COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2, and VSAM.
• Support and enhance a suite of mainframe applications with technical leadership.
• Triage incidents, service requests, and change requests within enterprise workflows.
• Provide technical troubleshooting and optimization for mainframe systems and DB2 queries.
• Create documentation for knowledge bases and SOPs.
