Job summary

Ginas Tech Jobs is seeking a hands-on IT Systems Administrator & Operations Specialist to independently manage and maintain the internal IT environment for a globally distributed workforce. This 6‑month contract role is 100% remote for US residents only.

You will handle Google Workspace and SaaS administration, MacOS endpoints via Mosyle, and identity controls, with a strong focus on reliable operations, onboarding/offboarding, and security compliance.

Qualifications

• Approximately 3–7 years of hands‑on IT systems administration or IT operations experience.
• Strong MacOS troubleshooting and endpoint management experience.
• Demonstrated Google Workspace administration and SaaS access management.
• Experience with SSO, MFA, and access control.
• Proven ability to work independently as a contractor in a remote‑first environment.
• Familiarity with security controls and endpoint management tooling.

Responsibilities

• Administer Google Workspace, user accounts, groups, permissions, and core productivity tools.
• Onboard/offboard provisioning and deprovisioning with RBAC and access records.
• Configure and troubleshoot SSO and MFA; manage identity workflows.
• Maintain system settings, licenses, documentation, and change control.
• Manage macOS endpoints via Mosyle MDM and Apple Business Manager, including enrollment, deployment, patching, and remote wipe.
• Oversee device lifecycle from procurement to secure disposal.
• Provide Tier II support for employees and contractors and document resolutions.
• Prioritize tickets, streamline workflows, and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Coordinate with People Operations, Security, and Engineering across distributed teams.
